We are pleased to have been awarded the Quality For Health Level 2 award, demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement and putting service users at the centre of our services.
This award is a quality assurance system for groups and organisations delivering health and wellbeing services.
Kate Gillespie, Head of Accommodation and Support Services at YMCA Derbyshire said: “The Quality For Health award endorses the work that we do to improve the health and wellbeing of young people experiencing homelessness. The framework allowed us to better evidence what we do and to reflect and learn from our practice. We are now better placed to work directly with health services.”
Tamsin Woodhead, Quality For Health Coordinator at VAC – Improving Local Lives said: “A massive congratulations to YMCA Derbyshire for completing Quality For Health and gaining the highest level of the award. It is so fantastic to see the Quality For Health award being achieved by more and more organisations across the UK.”
