Through YMCA Y-Kidz, we offer a range of excellent services in partnership with local schools. Our breakfast and after-school clubs (wraparound care), operate in primary schools across Derby and Derbyshire, and offer a diverse range of activities.

All YMCA Y-Kidz Activity Leaders are fully DBS checked and trained in Safeguarding, PREVENT, First Aid, and Food Hygiene, ensuring every child enjoys a safe and supportive environment.

Yes. YMCA Y-Kidz accepts childcare vouchers, tax-free childcare. Links to the codes are on our website.
The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme aims to provide support for families in Derby by providing free activities and meals during school holidays and beyond.
To find out if your child is eligible for HAF please visit the Derby City Council website.
We accept children 4 – 11 years old (Foundation – Year 6) at YMCA Y-Kidz Clubs.
