We accommodate 245 people each night who do not have a safe place to call home. YMCA residents progress along our supported housing pathways and Foyer to achieve the goal of moving on to independent living.

Padley have merged with YMCA Derbyshire offering the same services that have supported people at risk of homelessness, poverty and hunger in Derby since 1985. Providing food parcels, hot meals and a safe space to access support and guidance.
Affordable Wraparound and Holiday Clubs for primary school children in Derby and Derbyshire.
Affordable pre-school childcare for children aged 6 weeks-4 years in Derby.
Vocational courses for school leavers, those with Educational Health Plans and alternative provision for young people in Derby and Ilkeston.
Multiply is a new government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills.
Thriving Futures is our government funded programme that assists you in gaining skills and support to get you ready for work.
‘Past:Present:Work’ is our employability project inspired by local heritage funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund to support young people that have experienced homelessness and/or barriers to employment.
Safer Choices are resources created for teaching Sex Education made by young people, for young people and support workers.

Many young people have never known these things; other people have lost one or more as they grew up, but we all need them. All of us.
