We had the pleasure of hosting the latest Marketing Derby Bondholder event at Pentaxia on Shrove Tuesday, and we couldn’t have been happier with the turnout. With around 80 Bondholders in attendance, it was a great opportunity to bring together local businesses, enjoy some friendly competition and to share the ‘flipping good’ work we do at YMCA Derbyshire.
A Fun Start to the Morning: The Pancake Race
The event kicked off with coffee kindly provided by Nespresso UK, getting everyone ready for the exciting start of the 7th annual Pentaxia Limited pancake race. Ten teams of four participants competed in a fast-paced race that had everyone cheering.
Representatives from companies including NatWest, Pentaxia Limited, WDS Midlands Limited, HUUB Design, The Alternative Board (UK), Repton School, Marketing Derby, Vaillant UK, and Q Branch Consulting took part in the pancake-flipping fun. After a thrilling race, Pentaxia Limited (Shop Floor) emerged victorious – congratulations on a well-deserved win!
Pancakes, Networking, and YMCA Derbyshire’s Work
Following the race, it was time to enjoy some well-earned pancakes while networking with fellow Bondholders. We presented our new YMCA video and educated attendees around what we are doing as a charity to tackle social mobility and transform the lives of children, young people, and communities. Whether that’s supporting people facing housing challenges, delivering affordable childcare, offering youth services, or offering mental health support.
A big thank you to everyone who attended and who helped to make the event such a big success.
