YMCA Derbyshire celebrates successful fundraising efforts in securing a new Minibus to enrich Residents experiences.
Here at the YMCA Derbyshire, we are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our fundraising campaign to secure a new Minibus for our residents. Thanks to the incredible support of the community, local businesses, and philanthropic individuals, we have reached our goal, allowing us to transform the lives of our residents by providing them with opportunities to explore new experiences and adventures.
The campaign captured the hearts of many who shared our vision of enhancing the lives of our residents through improved transportation access. We had significant donations from HUUB, Vibrant Doors, Geldards- Derby Junior Lawyers Division, Mertrux, Don Amott, PKF Smith Cooper, WDS Limited, Rotheras Solicitors, Smith Partnership and YMCA Supporters.
“Our community’s response to our minibus fundraiser has been nothing short of remarkable.” Said Gillian Sewell, YMCA Derbyshire CEO. “This achievement reflects the compassion and dedication of our supporters, who believe in the power of community and the positive impact we can make together.”
The new Minibus, made possible through this collective effort, will open doors to a world of possibility for YMCA Derbyshire residents. It will enable our residents to participate in recreational activities, attend community events, and engage in educational outings that were once challenging to access.
