YMCA Derbyshire Are Through To The Semi Finals Of The 2023 Youth Matters Awards

What Are The Youth Matters Awards?

This is one of the most anticipated events in the YMCA calendar, Youth Matters Awards celebrate young people, staff, volunteers and projects from YMCAs across England and Wales for their outstanding achievements, inspiring feats against adversity and tireless dedication to creating change.

This year’s Youth Matters Awards will take place on Friday, 3 November 2023. Twelve coveted awards will be up for grabs across a range of categories, epitomising the incredible work being done to transform lives and enrich communities daily.

Last year we took home the YMCA of the Year trophy! Alongside Young Achiever of the Year and Support and Advice Project of the Year.

This year we are up for:

Young Campaigner of the Year – Kyle Pearson

Health and Wellbeing Project of the Year – Wilmorton Community Gardens
