Looking to gain new skills, meet new people and take a step towards your future? Our FREE eight-week Business Admin Bootcamp could be just what you’re looking for!
Whether you’re interested in a career in business, want to improve your confidence or simply aren’t sure what you’d like to do next, we’re here to help you explore your options. With fun activities, practical learning and real work experience, you’ll have the chance to develop valuable skills in a friendly, supportive environment. And the best part? It’s completely free, with lunch included and help towards travel costs.
This isn’t your typical classroom course. Our bootcamp is all about learning by doing, trying new things and discovering what you’re capable of.
Over eight weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Discover the basics of business administration, customer service and the skills employers are looking for.
Work towards qualifications, including customer service, to help strengthen your CV.
Take part in fun activities, games and group challenges designed to help you feel more confident.
Put your new skills into practice through a work placement.
Make friends, share experiences and learn alongside other young people.
Discover different career opportunities and take positive steps towards work, education or further training.
You don’t need any previous experience. Just bring yourself and a willingness to give something new a go!
Our Business Admin Bootcamp is open to young people aged 16–21, or up to 25 for care leavers and those with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Whether you’ve recently left education, are looking for work or want to build your skills before deciding what to do next, we’d love to hear from you.
Don’t just take our word for it! Here’s what young people who’ve taken part in ourlearning opportunities have to say:
Sometimes, taking that first step can make all the difference.
When Mackenzie joined one of our previous bootcamps, she was unsure about her future and struggling with confidence. Through practical learning, encouragement and work experience, she discovered new skills, grew in confidence and went on to secure a paid role with YMCA’s Y-Kidz team.
Her journey shows what can happen when you have the right support and the opportunity to try something new.
Come along to our open morning on 28 October to meet the team, ask questions and find out what the bootcamp is all about.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. Sometimes, all it takes is an opportunity to try something new.
Whether you want to build your confidence, gain qualifications or get a taste of the working world, our friendly team will support you every step of the way.
